Mobile app development in Uganda
TFast develops mobile apps for customers and business teams. Tell us the task the app should handle and the phones people will use.
Discuss your project ↗Choose the first task
An app might help a customer place an order or a staff member record a visit. Describe that task from start to finish: what the person enters, what they see and what confirms success. This gives us something specific to design and test before adding more screens.
Plan for the devices and connection
Let us know whether you need Android, iOS or both, and whether people will use older devices or unreliable internet. Offline work, notifications, camera access and location features affect the build. We agree which are required rather than assuming they all belong in the first release.
Connect the app to the business
Most business apps need accounts, a backend and a way for staff to manage records. We map those connections alongside any payment or messaging provider. Existing systems, data access and third-party approvals need to be discussed before integration work begins.
Phones and payments in Uganda
Many users in Uganda use Android phones with limited storage and changing network quality, so we plan for small downloads, low data use and screens that still work when the connection drops. TFast integrates Pesapal and Flutterwave for MTN MoMo, Airtel Money and card payments. Your own merchant account needs the provider’s approval first, and payments, SMS or WhatsApp notifications are tested before release.
Test and prepare for release
The release plan covers device testing, distribution accounts, permissions and ongoing support. You should know who will own the store accounts and approve changes. Store review and provider approvals can affect launch dates, so the schedule needs room for them.
